However, I am totally against telemarketers and I think telemarketing should be illegal because they commit fraud, invade our privacy and are extremely annoying. .
Telemarketing should be illegal; I believe that they are annoying. For example, telemarketers are very persistent. Once you pick up the phone and say "hello" they won't stop talking even when you said "NO THANKS" they insist on trying to sell you an item or service. That's not enough, sometimes they call me on the wrong time of the day, when I am usually busy, having lunch or when you are on the restroom or the shower. Other example is that they block the phone line with their calls and when I am waiting an important call or need to make one, I can't. .
Telemarketers are terrorists who rudely invade our privacy hoping to find that one in a million fool who does not find their behavior offensive. They intentionally waste my time and overburden the communications system. My home phone receives these invasions all the time. Sometimes I have disconnected all the ringers. Often these calls are generated by automatic calling machines, if a salesperson is not available when you answer the phone; no one speaks to you when you answer. Most telemarketing calls only register as "Out of Area" on the caller ID so you can't possibly call them back to complain. Many telemarketers are rude and obnoxious. .
