Walking in the mountains

I"d like to tell you briefly about the unforgettable adventure which I had some weeks ago. As you know I made up my mind to travel alone that time. It was great experience on the one hand and dreadful danger on the other. (You know how stubborn and careless I can be!).
As you know I chose to travel to the Andes on a major treks with expert guides who would follow the group and would seek if people need any help. Major treks included mountain walking for six to eight hours a day.
As we finally landed in Chile, I grabbed my bag and as I stepped out of the plane hearing the air hostess saying "thank you for flying Airflot airlines" looked outside. The view was amazing, it was like a new world to I've never been before, the atmosphere was warm, friendly and bustling, when I was there I felt so secure and the colours were vivid. I have never experienced mountain walking before. The guides greeted me and took me to the hotel. We were supposed to start the next morning. In the evening there was a meeting in the hotel lobby. The instructor told us about all the necessary precautions. He told something about the weather forecast, proper clothes and footwear and other equipment. A normally active person needs to drink at least two quarts of water each day. Hot environments and intense physical activity can double that amount.
It was so boring that I decided to left the meeting. It was my mistake, because the next thing he said was: "Do have at least FOUR people in your group. DO NOT go alone because the air is stuffy and you can lost your consciousness".
I preferred not waiting for the group and going on my journey early in the morning where everything is peaceful and beautiful. Local taxi dropped me off near the beginning of the itinerary. I took a pocket torch and a rucksack full of water bottles (as the instructor said).
I loved hearing the cheerful sounds of the birds calling at each other, I love smelling and breathing the fresh clean air.
