They use the color of a person to define Othello's status and that he does not deserve his position. This can support my point of saying that one reason Iago frame Othello is because of the racism.

This source examines the theme of human susceptibility to bestial behavior in Othello play. Iago and Othello both are having this bestial behavior when they are not satisfy with the result. Iago, in order to express his dissatisfactory of not being promoted, he plots his evil plan to frame Othello and Cassio. Othello's bestial behavior is also shown in the play where his jealousy transforms into hatred and he kills his wife, Desdemona. This supports my point saying that how Iago's bestial characteristic affects his action.
