The New Face of Domestic Terrorism

In his thesis, Thomas Barnett notes that the world's countries can be classified between high and low levels of globalization. He notes that the potential of a country to ensure U.S. military response is inversely related to its globalization connectivity and that the enemy is not our religious differences,(Islam) or a place,(the Middle East) but a condition - the disconnection of certain countries in the globalized international community (Eisenmann). .
In Barnett's view, the international conflicts in recent decades are integrated with economic globalization, political and telecommunications, and those who remain outside of these transforming influences. While I believe that Mr. Barnett's solid thesis is a rational and plausible argument; countries high in globalization such as England, the United States, other European parties, Japan and China are susceptible to the phenomenon of emergence of domestic terrorism.
Domestic terrorism in America has increased exponentially in the last 18 years, with the first sign of an emerging domestic terrorism occurring on April 9, 1995, with the Oklahoma City bombing tragedy. Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols discharged a bomb in front of the Oklahoma Federal Office Building, causing windows to blow out, walls and floors to collapse and the deaths of 168 people (including 19 preschool children). This terroristic act was an anti-government plot to avenge the Branch Davidian standoff in Waco, Texas, exactly two years earlier. .
Since 1995, the number of incidents of domestic terrorism have increased significantly. A recent act of domestic terrorism occurred in April, 2013 when two brothers attacked the Boston Marathon using two homemade explosives. The brothers had apparently been radicalized themselves without outside intervention and the refusal of the U.S. position the Muslim world. After repeated trips to Russia, followed by a return to the United States, the oldest brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, began posting videos of extremist preachers and browse pages related to Al Qaeda groups detailing the process of making a bomb.
