Sculpting a Parent-Child Relationship

A parent-child relationship is a special relationship that has a huge effect on the way that the child will turn out. This relationship is formed through love, disappointment, and discipline. Parenting requires a great deal of adaptation. The parents want to develop a strong bond with their child but they also want to maintain a healthy relationship among themselves along with their other friendships. Through life, the bond between a child and parent will grow and expand in many ways. Whether the child makes mistakes or not the parent can't help but to love their child unconditionally. In the end the parent is always there to help mold, and sculpt the child's brain to become who they are. .
As for myself my parents have impacted my life dramatically. From the beginning I lived with both of my parents. From watching home movies it seemed as if my parents were happy together. They were married for eight long years. During that last year they decided they were not compatible any longer, because when I was two years old they got a divorce. They believed it was for the best and I trust their judgment on that decision. .
While growing up in Minnesota I was juggled back in forth between my parents. I never found this bothersome, because that was all I knew. While getting juggled back and forth I was able to spend quality time with both of them. They loved me very much. We may not have been rich, but I considered myself rich with love. I remember observing them and listening to them while they taught me right from wrong. They taught me how to be gentle with animals, and how use my words not my fists, and to be honest. They were able to teach me these generous qualities through the love and devotion they had when I was a child. Without their love I would have never been able to learn how to love so passionately.
As I grew older the luxury of being an innocent child soon dissipated. I came to find out that both my parents had many issues.
