Racism Summary

The conclusion one needs to draw from this reality is that ethnic discrimination towards 'others' continues and there are people suffering from such racist organizations.
It is believed there are black presidents, black senators, black captains of business companies ,black entertainment cannels so racism cannot be existing. The proponents of this view accept these as significant achievements for race relations in the world. However, serious reservations may be raised against it.It is believed this proposal is actually a camouflage trying to give people the impression that racism is over.People still benefit from what is known as ''White Privileges''. Despite the fact that there are black and indigenous managers, most of the top managers are still whites even in South Africa whose majority population is Africans. In addition, different ethnic groups have experienced racist terms by coworkers. They are mostly criticized over their ethnic identity when their projects fail.Hence,we are far away from being a pot-racist society.
It is clear that in this day and age racism continues to exit.First of all, some corporate policies and process in favour of ethnic discrimination still affect socio-economic opportunities negatively.Ethnic identity is a disadvantage in finding a job. This case is true even a black person is as qualified as a white who applies for the same job.For this case, it isn't surprising non white people are last hired and first fired.Furthermore, non white people face some difficulties in getting and keeping a house.Because of the thought they are more likely to cause trouble and commit crime, landlords don't prefer them as lenders. There difficulties are same when they want to buy a house. For instance, only after banks send reports about the neighbourhood, the FHA(Federal Housing Administration)can insure a mortgage. The information report should include the answers of those questions ''Are inharmonious racial groups present in the neighbourhood? If not, is there any danger of infiltration of such groups?''(Kimbe,2007,p.
