Brain cancer is the same as a brain tumor. A tumor is an abnormal cell growth in any part of the body, but in this case, it will be in the brain. These tumors can cause instant death because they put the brain under a lot of pressure in such a small space in the skull. An author explains how all of this and more is, "caused by the radiation that mobile phones transmit and the intensity of the waves that are the closest to our brains " (Gillett). The area closest to the side where the phone is used is the most affected by the waves and the side to show effects fastest in brain cancer. Anyone can be developing tumors at this moment, but to this point, it is based on who uses the phone more and for how long. It is all put together by the time people spend on the phone and the way they hold the phone, close or away from the ear. Cancer is a difficult illness to treat and even more when the tumor is located in the brain. The treatment is long for these types of surgeries and the recovery is even longer and sometimes frustrating. Surgery can go wrong and the brain will have to adapt to the body and learn body movements over again or become a vegetable with no movement (state of comma). Death can be the worst case scenario for any person with an advanced brain tumor that can no longer be treated.
