Fitness Program Managment

As a college student it is evident that each and every person experiences stress. I believe most college students bite off more than they can chew. I think that most college students are so convinced that they have to prove themselves that they take on a greater amount of responsibility than they can handle at one time. Stress is defined as "Stress is a normal physical response to events that make you feel threatened or upset your balance in some way." (http://www.helpguide.org/articles/stress/stress-symptoms-causes-and-effects.htm) Stress can affect the way you eat, sleep, respond to situations and the way you function everyday. Everyone is different with the way they cop with their stress habits. Through my findings it was evident that people eat too much or too little, sleep too much or too little, exercise, abuse alcohol and drugs and occasionally do nothing at all.
Being a college student, you are exposed to many opportunities to abuse drugs and alcohol. Most college students will work really hard to get their homework and assignments done and when the weekend rolls around, they are buried into the harmful substances life has to offer. Students believe that this is a way to "celebrate" their accomplishments or a way to relieve their stress, but I believe it just causes addictions. It causes students to believe that after every accomplishment or triumph there needs to be a reward through excessive partying, drugs and/or alcohol. These students aren't aware of the dangers of this stress reliever until it gets too late and starts to consume their lives.
It was also evident that stress drives people to extremes of opposite sides of the spectrums. Students either eat too much or too little, they sleep too much or too little, and they exercise excessively or don't have the energy to get out of bed. Some people believe that they are so into their work that they dont have to eat or sleep, when that will just drive them to crash and burn.
