That was until I spoke in a public, I remember hearing my voice ring out as I spoke into the microphone, I was expecting to stutter, to feel nauseous or even act nervous. Yet, my voice rang out strong and with no error; I could hear the words flow so easily, and I really felt accomplished. As of then, I had not realized my career, even when it was so obvious. .
Additionally, My cousin, Katherin and I were and still are inseparable. Part of it was from growing up together for most of our childhood, and the other must have been the trust we had in each other; or maybe the fact that I was only older by four days. When we were around five years old, Katherin, my brother Carlos, and I were the terrible trio, we did a lot of stunts that always put us in danger. One time a goat ended up chasing for going to place we us, but that is a story for another day. Yet if you ask me my favorite thing to do with them was always playing family. And I remember complaining about how I wanted to be the mother and not the baby; my brother saying that he would never let me be the mother because he was the father. So, I always was stuck as the daughter. Nevertheless, as much as they insisted that I did not play a big role in our family sketches, I always ended up directing them and adding the attention toward me. That should also have been a clue toward my future career. Nonetheless, I still had not figured out my true calling.
Following, all these little unnoticed impacts in my career were sketches at church. Somehow, my church would put on productions, little plays, and short sketches, and I ended up having cameos in them. Yet, as I started to grow older, and I actually started to pay more attention, I got chosen for bigger roles. My first big role was as Mary in a Christmas production. When I first accomplished that, I got chosen for some cameos as Mary in other plays at church. However, I was not satisfied with getting a small role.
