             6. With reference to paragraph no. 4 of the plaint, these Defendants deny that they are irregular in payment of rent and are not ready and willing to pay the same as and when it is due as alleged and put the Plaintiffs to strict proof thereto. It is to be noted that these Defendants pay the monthly rent in respect of the suit premises in one lump sum for the whole year and the said procedure has been followed for the past more than a decade. The Plaintiffs have never objected to the said practice which has been following up by these Defendants in regard to the payment of rent. These Defendants state that for the reasons best known to the Plaintiffs, the monthly rent which have been paid for the year 2012-2013 is not yet presented to the banker of these Defendants crave leave to refer to and rely upon their bank statement to substantiate their case. These Defendants are ready and willing to deposit the rent in respect of the suit premises in this Hon'ble Court.
             7. With reference to paragraph no. 5 of the plaint these Defendants deny that they are not occupying or using the suit premises as alleged and put the Plaintiffs to strict proof thereto. These Defendants further deny that they have kept the suit premises unused and locked without reasonable cause as alleged and put the Plaintiffs to strict proof thereto. These Defendants also deny that they have committed breach of terms and conditions of tenancy and the provisions of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act as alleged and put the Plaintiffs to strict proof thereto. These Defendants are not aware whether the Plaintiffs through their Advocate's notice dated 20.12.2011 terminated the tenancy of these Defendants in respect of the suit premises as alleged. It is important to note that the Plaintiffs have neither annexed nor referred to and relied upon the said alleged notice and having not done so the stand taken by the Plaintiffs to this regards is baseless and afterthought.
