Short Story - My Wild Day

As I lay there thinking to myself, "what am I doing with my life?," I realized there was no excitement anywhere to be found in this dull, bleak house. I got up from my bed and realized yet again I slept until noon. "Great," I said as I walked out into the living room noticing there was no one home. I sat down on the couch which was covered with the stink of younger siblings, and began to flip through the channels on the television. I was finding it hard to stay on one channel and feeling myself beginning to doze off when my cell phone began to ring. It was Drake, one of my best friends. "Dude come outside right now" he said, "Why what's up dude?" I replied in an anxious manner. As I walked outside I heard the sound of an engine roaring. I thought to myself "What in the world?" As I stepped outside I couldn't believe what I saw.
I was staring into the eyes of a 2012 Aston Martin Virage. I stared in awe at the beautifully polished rims, brilliant use of black and red paint scheme, and just the overall quality of this vehicle designed for the Gods. All I could do was just stand there in complete and utter disbelief. "Punch me I'm dreaming!" I shouted, as I motioned towards this beauty of an automobile. He rolled the window down and said "get in", and before I knew it we were going down the highway at ninety miles an hour and steadily increasing. I felt my heart race faster and faster with each car that we passed heading towards an unfamiliar part of town. .
As we pulled up to the desolate, abandoned building, I felt a sense of dread fill my entire body as we proceeded underneath the haunting trees blowing in the wind towards the front door that was quite the opposite of welcoming. "What is this place?" I asked my friend. "You'll see" he answered flashing me a questionable smirk. Inside was barren and if you've watched anything that has a setting of a post-apocalyptic world then you would have a pretty good idea of what this hell-hole would look like.
