When he was six his family moved to the suburbs of Chicago in order to ensure he received the proper education they desired for him. His childhood was filled with opportunities and instruction that many are not given by their parents. His family cared for him dearly, and through their teaching and wisdom has instilled honorable values within him that he holds onto even into adulthood. In high school, Tony found himself questioning the structure and routine that had been set in place for all in society to advance through. While many at this age lack the understanding to ponder such things, Tony could not just stand by and say nothing. He began to raise questions about the traditional structure of an eight hour school day and its relation to preparing children to follow like sheep into an eight hour work day while never question other ways of living. His teachers met his comments with criticism, not because they lacked intellectual value, but because it made them wonder about the empty and routine life they had accepted without question. Tony stood strong in his position though, he knew others would oppose his views; as a true rebel he fully accepted the consequences of his pursuit of justice and provoking others from complacency.
Although he questioned the structure that was set in place by society, Tony recognized the necessity and importance of education and graduated high school. Though many may have taken his unconventional behavior and thoughts as careless, Tony was a master at challenging his own beliefs and used this skill as a force for awakening others. Upon entering the workforce he struggled with having to accept the rules and structure set in place by his employers, while not allowing their system to break his belief that there is more to life than the daily routine. He was challenged daily by suffering the lack of appreciation and care shown for their employees' well-being.
