             Laws for Bullying Children in Schools: What Children Fear Every Day.
             Classroom and school climate can significantly affect the interpersonal behavior of children (346). Children are faced with many obstacles throughout their life. A lot of those obstacles that children will face come from the school surroundings they grow up in. Research shows that children in schools everyday are getting bullied for so many reasons. This paper will take a look at the seriousness of bullying in schools through the current state laws and policies, the duty to report if a child has been bullied, and finally, the reasoning why children bully others. Children getting bullied everyday in schools has become a serious issue for law makers. Research shows that there are several definitions of the word bullying. For example, "the United States of Health and Human Services defines bullying as "unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children" (Park 844). Having several different meanings of the word bullying, makes it harder for schools to enforce a policy against children getting bullied. Limber and Small state, "Currently, 15 states have passed laws to address bullying among school children and many state legislators are considering such legislation (e.g., Michigan, Nebraska, and Pennsylvania)" (446). A lot of state legislators are faced with the problem of schools being ran by a school board.
