Dr. Martin Luther King Junior


            Everyone has a hero or someone that inspires and look up to. As history passes many people have become heroes by changing the lives of others. They voiced their opinions and made a difference by taking action for what they believed in. Day by day, lives are being changed by heroes that are making sacrifices to change the world or to better their community. Most people have heard or been taught about the history of African-Americans. There were Harriet Tubman, Rosa Park, Jackie Robinson, and many more. Favorite hero of all is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He is a hero because of his persuasion ways, bravery, and determination.
             To begin with, Martin Luther King was not only an intelligent leader, but he was a persuasive hero. When Rosa Park refused to give up her seat on the bus, she got arrested. At that time colored people were only allowed to sit at the back of the bus. When Dr. King got the news about Rosa Park, he immediately reacted to the news. As the leader of the (MIA) Montgomery Improvement Association the idea of having a boycott with commercial or social relationship with community followed by a protest. He persuades black African American people not to ride the bus that way money is not being made in for transportation. Their car pulled to work and school, but the police were stopping the cars and giving them tickets. Martin Luther King did not let his people give up.
             Next, Martin Luther King is a hero because he is brave. In 1956, while Martin Luther King was away helping organize the boycott movement his house got bombed. His family was asleep when the house got bombed, but they were safe by the time Martin got home. Everyone in the community was outraged and ready to retaliate with violence. Nowadays when someone family has been threaten the first reaction is to kill. Dr. King stayed humble and decided that violence is not the way to solve the answer because that is what they expect of them.
