I tried to strike at his shoulder, but he defended it with his shield; he then counter-attacked, trying to stab me in my stomach, however, I defended it and behead him. His head fell first into the snow and then his body; the beautiful white snow was turning red from the blood. Two other men charged shouting from behind, trying to stab my chest. I bent down, lifted my shield, and blocked their attacks. I pushed one man down with shield and stabbed the other one straight into his heart. I removed my sword and gallons of blood spurt out his chest and his mouth. The other man that I had pushed away with my shield had recovered; I walked up to him and slashed his head into half, but my sword stuck in his helmet and flesh. I unsheathed another sword from my shield and pushed the knight away with my spurs. Another two men charged at me, one from behind and one from the right. I defended the attack from the man on the right and cut him into half from the stomach. At the same the knight from behind, slashed my back, luckily the cut wasn't too deep. I turned around and slit his throat, to be able to give him a painful death; he will yearn to breath and eventually die. .
There was a lot blood that pouring from the injury on back, my breathing was becoming heavy, and my armor was wearing me down, but I still walked to Quintus and said, "Is that the best you have?" Quintus was enraged by hearing this and ordered all his men to kill me. They were nearly twenty men, and I was fighting alone; I was overwhelmed twenty to one, but I still fought on. Swords and shields kept clashing, I kept killing their men, they kept injuring me and the snow kept becoming red. The battle came to pause for some time; there were five knights left to be killed yet and then their general. My body was wounded, my back was slashed, my left shoulder stabbed (making it hard for me to lift my shield) and my thigh slit, but I was still standing.
