Life Without the Internet

No I am not saying that is a fact for every couple on this planet that uses social media, but I have noticed that this is slowly starting to happen more to younger couples. .
             The younger kids are letting social media represent who they are as people or as couples. I feel as if they think they must put up 100 pictures with their significant other to show that the other person in the relationship is their property. This is kind of like marking their territory based on my observations. For example, if I were to put up a picture with my girlfriend, I feel like some people may view this is as me telling other males to back off she is mine and I want to make this known. When in reality I just wanted to show people that we had a fun time at Knott's Scary Farm last weekend. .
             One of the biggest positives that comes from the invention of the internet is the aid it can provide to students, essentially the internet is having all of the information of the world at ones fingertips, and all they have to know how to do to access it is to be able to spell what the person is looking for. This can be extremely useful when doing any big project, research paper, or book report, among many other things too. Not only is it a great source of information useful in school but also, there are many news sites that are really good at keeping you up with events when you don't have time to go pick up the press enterprise or your local new paper. .
             While there are many sites and things that can help you the Internet is a very dangerous place too. There are many sites that post false information about our celebrities or just lies in general that many people tend to believe. Often times it is not that bad or doesn't have that much of an impact on the way we operate, but to use a current event as an example, the Ebola "epidemic" has shaken many peoples nerves and sites that are saying it has caused people to rise from the dead or that is extremely contagious and can be transmitted by air is false, yet those lies have made many people freak out and start to act in absurd ways.
