Poverty is not similar to a disease that would require drugs and disappear, but it requires the government to state the factors that contribute to poverty. The national governments fail to address the reasons that influence poverty in the country such as unemployment rates and lack of investors. According to Harris, countries fail to focus on creating employment opportunities for its growing population resulting in poverty because the nation cannot sustain the entire population (491). Most of the nation's income would end up taking care of the population's basic needs instead of making key progress in the society. .
             bMost countries find it hard to indulge in businesses with other countries because of the past indifferences. The countries require indulging in business despite their past differences to help improve the conditions for their people. Trade is important because the countries do not have all the resources and indulging in business help the countries acquires the necessary assets for development. For instance, the countries in the Middle East have numerous oil barrels and have to trade with countries in Europe for knowledge among other amenities. Poverty affects most developing countries because of lack of job opportunities, and the countries do not have means to resolve the issue. Most of the people with jobs are in their prime ages while the teenagers and strong people with ages below 40 live without jobs. The developing nations have failed to allow the foreign currencies in their countries making it difficult to compete with the developed countries. The developed nations would continue getting wealthy while the developing countries remain the poverty state. .
