             The Dubai expo 2020 is expected to spur a number of changes in the economic perspective of the region. In essence, if Dubai will prevail in its bid to undertake the Expo 2020, it will subsequently create a wide range of economic benefits prior to and after the actual event. In particular, this event will create a wide range of jobs in the region both directly and indirectly. The success of the UAE in the Expo 2020 will ignite a novel impetus the regional economic growth in future. This impact will give a sizeble share of the gross domestic product of the emirates annually. .
             Despite the fact that consultants, financial analysts and a wide range of experts cannot provide the exact quantity of the success of the Expo, they mutually agrees that the event will create a huge economic benefit to the country through the instigation of huge economic activities comprising of billions of dirhams. Besides, the activity will also spur the creation of a wide range of jobs opportunities in multiple sectors such as the banking and transportation sectors (Shaw-Smith, 2014). .
             With additional investments in infrastructural layout of the region which are required to establish the foundation for the Expo 2020, it is certainly clear that more jobs will be created in the construction sector among other sectors such as hospitality industry which is expected to grow to accommodate the surging needs for catering services. Indeed, direct economic activity is witnessed in the creation of the infrastructure which will also attract more employment in the event management sectors. Other ancillary sectors including the transportation and leisure sector will also benefit from the huge influx of persons from within and the foreign sources within the next five years till the event takes place an aspect that is likely to retain long-term benefits to the regional investors (Irwin & International Monetary Fund.
