Aggravation of a Conflict and Civil War Development .
The reasons of escalation in the conflict and outbreak of two civil wars are due to the formation of utterly belligerent mentality in the society. Overall atmosphere inside the country changed the traditional view of the war, so called "Beef War" times came to an end. Instead of spears and sticks that were used during the clashes, firearms entered the conflict. Unfortunately, legitimated, international agreement between two countries to the share oil revenue has not been achieved.

There were several attempts of maintaining the peace during the conflict. The first treaty in setting compromise between two countries was taken at the end of the First Civil War in 1972 and is known as the Addis Ababa Agreement the major goal of this agreement was to give autonomy degree to South Sudan. The agreements reached by parties during this treaty were included in the Constitution of Sudan.6 Another important treaty that was followed by the end of the Second Civil War was the Comprehensive Peace Agreement in January 2005 the idea of which was to end the Second Civil War, establish democracy, peace and share the natural resources revenues.7 One of the major critical events in the political and social history of South Sudan that helped to gain independence from North Sudan was South Sudanese referendum in 2011. .
UN involvement in the conflict became essential in order to support Comprehensive Peace Agreement. UN Security Council established the United Nations Mission in the Sudan (UNMIS).8 Furthermore, UNMIS had to protect and provide promotion of human rights of Sudan. The idea of UNMIS was to support both countries politically, monitor security, help to recover and develop the economy.
