My decision to pursue graduate study in the United States is underscored by my desire to be a part of the graduate program at your institution. I finished my Bachelors degree with distinction in Chemical Engineering, from SCollege of Engg. & Tech., Surat, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, I felt that in order to compete with everyday fast growing world I should pursue a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering Science. Throughout my final year of bachelors program I have treasured every single minute of my work; especially the opportunity to participate in cutting-edge project and discuss ideas with senior technologist and engineers during industrial vocational training. I shortly realized that, although I enjoyed dealing with complex equipments and processing the results, I am not going to be satisfied with carrying out routine procedures under the directions of others. My senior faculties and colleagues have encouraged my ambition and feel that I have the prospective for graduate studies. .
My inquisitiveness for Chemical field started in my family. When I was young, my uncle, took me on his company visits. It was a color manufacturing unit. I was amazed with that massive machinery and its work performance. He and his friends explained me how those all machinery works. My passionate desire was to implement such important tasks as quickly as he did. Quite naturally my first thoughts about a future career tended towards engineer. .
I have accomplished my undergraduate level which was a 4 year program, but after completion of my diploma I got admission in 2 nd year, thus it remnants to 3 year program. My university, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, is accredited B++ equivalent to Five Star Status by NAAC. In addition to this, Chemical Engineering Department of my college, Sarvajanik College of Engg. & Tech., Surat, is certified by NBA which is in itself a great achievement because it was the first amongst the only two Chemical Engineering Departments all over Gujarat.
