The Sociology of Abortion

Not everyone believes in abortion due to their religious beliefs. Some people believe in abortion just for one reason and that is if someone was raped. The bible was written 3,500 years ago and people believe every word that is in the bible. This is the reason why people fight against whether abortion should be illegal or legal. Abortion should be legal in the United States. In life you can't always chose what happens to you and being raped is one of them. Abortion should be legal because a woman should not have to carry a baby in her if it is not what she wants and not by her consent. Making abortion legal will help a lot of woman because they won't have to get an abortion illegally. Being raped is something that you don't want to remember, you want to try to forget about it any way possible and having to carry a baby for 9 months will not help anyone forget about the rape. People have their own opinions about abortion and some say that no matter what abortion is not a choice but everyone in the United States has their own opinion and option to do what they want because it is their body, not anyone else's. .
The state separates church and state for a reason because everyone has their own opinions and if you take away our own opinion then that is going against the first amendment. You can't take away the first amendment because that is taking away the freedom of speech, religion, press, and assemble and petition government. Everyone has the chance to say their opinion on abortion and how they think about it. Most people are pro-choice and the others are against it all the way. "I think it is a point of pride for Americans that, even with the differences we have had recently over many issues of health care, we adhere so carefully to Washington's promise of conscientious accommodation. For almost 40 years the Church Amendment has protected conscientious objection to abortion and sterilization where federal funds are involved.
