Infertility - Struggling to Become Pregnant


When they know that they are stable with money then they focus starting or forming a family. But little do they know that they have lowered there chances of making a family because of the amount of time they waited. One out of five women have their first child after their 35th birthday in the United States. Many doctors believe that age in a very important factor in infertility. They believe that menopause slowly kicks in during the last decade of a the women's reproductive life which means women have less time to extend their family.(Infertility) it is said that the probability of becoming pregnant decrease anywhere from three to five percent each year after 30 and even faster once a women has reached 40.(Infertility Definition) .
             The main reason involves problems with ovulating, because without ovulation there will be no eggs to be fertilized. Other problems with infertility involve problems with the fallopian tubes and the uterus. The fallopian tubes could be damaged as a result from pelvic inflammatory disease and endometriosis. (Infertility) Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is the term used to identify the infection of the fallopian tubes, uterus, and other reproductive organs. PID is transmitted sexually and is the result of chlamydia or gonorrhea. If untreated PID can cause infertility, chronic pelvic pain, ectopic pregnancy (a pregnancy that occurred anywhere other than the uterus), and abscess formation. (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) .
             Endometriosis is the abnormal growth of cells like the ones found in the inside of the uterus (endometrial cells) but located outside of the uterus. Endometrial cells are one of the many things are shed away each month due to menstruation. Endometriosis affect women who are in their reproductive years. Endometriosis cells attach themselves to several parts on the female reproductive system for example, the ovaries, fallopian tubes, outer surface, intestines, the lining of the pelvic cavity, the vagina, cervix, and bladder and sometimes but rarely on the pelvis, the liver, old surgery scars, the lungs and the brain except the uterus.
