When Soldiers Come Home

PTSD is given to a person who experiences harm that left them with feelings or thoughts of being traumatized. Soldiers can be fine for a moment, but out of nowhere the possibility of getting a hallucination will come. Hallucinations are like having nightmares, but having a hallucination can be more frightening for the reason that you are awake while it is taking place. A person does not have the ability to control what their mind is thinking while they are sleeping because their brain is not fully awake. Hallucinations and nightmares can lead a person to have no control of their emotions and they will begin to feel frustrated and not know what to do to control what they are feeling. Traumatic memories can be experienced by having flashback memories or by having nightmares of the war that had transpired which makes it harder for them to forget about the deaths or other horrifying events that happened. Trauma can also lead people to lose faith about whether if they are safe living in this world or not. A soldier will get hurt in a war regardless if they get out alive and their mind makes them think this world is out to hurt them as well. Not being able to sleep well like before or not being able to stay focused can lead them to getting a sickness. Soldiers can get a panic attack for the reason that they feel welcomed to a life full of danger where everyone is against them. As time goes on, soldiers begin to live their live by losing interest and hope in the world. Some begin to live their live trying to destroy themselves and the only way to get out of having traumatic and hallucinations will be by taking their own lifes away or in other words, committing suicide. .
             A high percentage of soldiers who come back from war feel overwhelmed with what they did in battle and from what is happening with them when they return to the real world. A lot of soldiers come back without a family to look forward to be there for them because when they left for war, they were single.
