Many people believe that same sex couples should not have the right to have, raise nor adopt children. There are children that wait ecstatically for someone to adopt them. Heterosexual couples have less complications of adopting a child than homosexual couples do. Should homosexuals go through more vigorous complications than heterosexual couples? I believe that homosexuals should go through the same amount of complications as heterosexual couples because they are just like heterosexual couples their human and they pay taxes, and do other everyday things just like heterosexual couples do. Some believe that homosexual couples cannot raise a child as well as heterosexual couples can.
Whereas numerous people grew up believing that same sex families is not the normal and ideal life. However families have developed more differently over the years. Whether we like it or not, this is the era of the contemporary family. As researchers studied how dissimilar family interactions concern children, it has become obvious that the value of a family's bond is more imperative than the meticulous family structure. Studies have consistently shown, that in fact, that children that come from sex same households do as well and are just as happy as children that come from heterosexual household. It shows no difference in their academic achievements, their psychological and emotional well being and their social abilities (Pappas, 2012).
The possibility of an amendment in our laws to permit homosexual couples to wed has at times affected people to agonize and to panic the unfamiliar. The same baseless concern occurred when several people struggled to overturn the laws barring marriage among people of different ethnicities in the 1950's and in the 1960's. However in actuality, opening the right to marry to more caring couples, heterosexual or homosexuals, and their families will strengthen the foundation.
