The 9/11 Conspiracy

Mobilization before both wars improved the economy greatly and offered more job opportunities while trading with allies helped as well. After World War 1 ended veterans came home to enjoy a decade of prosperity known as the "Roaring Twenties." In an article written Hugh Rockoff of Rutgers University about World War 1 Rockoff stated "U.S. exports to Europe rose from $1.479 billion dollars in 1913 to $4.062 billion in 1917. Suppose that the United States had stayed out of the war, and that as a result all trade with Europe was cut off." Had America stayed out of the war, the economy would not have thrived this greatly. If this does not show that America thrives off of wars, take a look at the results of World War 2. Had America not entered the war, the nation might have never gotten out of the Great Depression.
One might still ask, "How does this correlate with 9/11?" Well let's look at the results after the attacks. Not even a month after September 11th, troops were sent into the Middle East and a "War on Terror" was announced. Furthermore, before the 9/11 attacks the U.S. happened to be in a recession, but afterwards the G.D.P. of America rose noticeably from mobilization. In an article written by David Ray Griffin the sixth paragraph begins with the lines "There is no doubt that the attacks brought benefits. Indeed, several members of the Bush administration publicly said so. The president himself declared that the attacks provide 'a great opportunity.'2 Donald Rumsfeld stated that 9/11 created 'the kind of opportunities that World War II offered, to refashion the world.'" It is clear to see that there were some major advantages from the attacks for the U.S. Government. .
Also, while analyzing America's young history, the government hasn't been exactly the most honest to its citizens. There have been several cases of corruption and embarrassing moments that seem to go forgotten and unnoticed.
