Merging Science and Religion

"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and the subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. So are our emotions in the presence of great art or music or literature, or acts of exemplary selfless courage such as those of Mohandas Gandhi or Martin Luther King, Jr. The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both." (Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark) Throughout the centuries, there has been a conflict to whether if science and religion can actually work together. If it was possible for science to be without religion, and religion to ever be without science. From the theory of evolution versus creation, which is the division of scientists who believe that the evolution of the world was created by "natural forces" and the scientific method creating the 'big bang' theory without the command of a god, which versus by religionists whom have an affirm belief that only God can create the world which goes by holy scriptures. As a strong Christian believer that I am, I always knew that religion was the key to everything. I never notice how there was actually a dispute whether religion and science could go together, and actually they can. I believe that religion and science are coming together. I see it as the world was created by God, who made the Heavens and the Earth, but got creative and made a masterpiece, such as The Big Bang. In a way, I interpret it as religion has a way of creating life and the world around us, but science interprets it and actually defines it for us to learn and understand. Isaac Newton stated that, "Gravity explains the motion of the planets, but it cannot explain who sets the planet in motion".
