Alexander

It was very dangerous. The author says that it was the right idea for him to leave instead if following the Persians; I agree with that. If he would have followed them Alexander would have been killed and not accomplish the things he did. He was able to overcome this event by using his fast-thinking skills; with him using it his army wouldn=t know what to do. I think that he learned to always he aware even after a battle and depend on courage instead of luck in this kind of situation.
             Many things acted to influence Alexander. One factor that greatly influenced Alexander was that his father pasted away in 336 B.C. Alexander was only twenty years old. .
             King Philip was assinated. His father, Phillip II ruled Athens and Thebes. He was a great ruler. Alexander took over his throne. Allies of King Philip believed that Alexander was too young to take over the throne and succeed in continuing his father=s works, such as going to war with Persia and conquering India. With his ego, he knew he had to prove everyone wrong. One by one he conquered land. While he was conquering terrain he knew he had to find the murder of his father so that he can avenge his death.
             This obstacle was important because King Philip died when Alexander still need assistance in learning about being King. Also that when he took over the throne we had to do a wonderful job or else all of the allies wouldn=t be his allies. The personality traits that helped him were his need to be on the top, and bravery. He learned from this event was that he could be a respectable leader and that even through he seemed young to rule, he was able to conquer Persia, India and other places. Also he developed traits like determination when he swore to find the killer of his father. This event was probably made Alexander the way he became later in his life. AAlexander gave immediate attention to his father=s funeral and proclaimed that >only the name of the King had been changed.
