How do we determine the meaning of life? Look at your life and ask questions: Am I happy? What am I doing here? Do I make a difference? In other cases people value the opinion of others to determine the meaning of life. Basically there is no set standard for determining the meaning of life. Since you are able to think you begin to formulate the meaning of life. Hell, we have our parents constantly nagging us and questioning us as to why we do the things we do.              Justly, we can formulate the idea of physical and metaphysical immortality from the meaning of life. If you truly believe that life has a meaning you probably believe that there is a heaven and a hell and an afterlife. We all know that there is no physical immortality. Human life is just a wind up toy that eventually fades away. Hell, Limbo, and Heaven. Dante wrote his famous comedy on how if one wants salvation he must experience pain and suffering before he can be happy. According to Dante the soul does live after physical death. It [the soul] goes on enduring and remembering the things that happen to it. You, the real you, the inner light you, never dies. You may go one. But in my view your soul dies with you. If there is a heaven, is it an unlimited hard drive that never fills up? Reincarnation is not a viable option. The belief that the soul returns into a different entity is absurd. But who knows?
