             The consumers save because they are preparing for future needs or they want 100% security of their money. Savings occur in government when there is a surplus exists in budget (surplus budget). The business firms save in order to give returns on investment (eg. Dividends).
             The factors that may influence consumers" choice are the risk (safety), reward and liquidity. For instance, banks offer 100% securities on their customers" money deposited but give a bit of reward in terms of interest but consumer can take out their money anytime they want in terms of withdrawals. .
             Another idea would be the share market, where there is a greater risk because share prices may increase or decrease every time. There is a greater reward when share price appreciates because the shareholders will be likely to received higher dividends. On the other hand when price depreciates it will result a loss to the shareholders. There is a high liquidity however share prices are variable and it keeps on changing and shareholders usually does not want to sell there shares in low price because usually the main purpose of buying shares is to make a profit. .
             The consumers look at the different aspects on how they are going to make a choice on buying financial assets in financial market. All of them are looking for greater securities and lower risk; absolutely greater reward and as much as possible no loss; and also consumers are looking for higher liquidity. But as we can see the financial markets do not present all of these aspects in one financial asset. Therefore the consumers also need to decide what financial asset they are going to buy in accordance to their status in life, level of income or even their goals in life. .
