What Honor Means To Me

             Xavier University's honor code expresses explicit intent about how they would like their students to carry out this regulation. The institution's purpose is to make students comfortable with their surroundings. Also to help students realize that they are in a different stage in their lives. I believe that this policy can have a definite impact on everyday life through its amazing attributes and the way that it is enforced by students. The honor code will be an impact on my academic and campus life because of the rich tradition it carries.
             The honor code can be incorporated in my life by using it effectively in class. Even when there is a time when the first thing that comes to mind would be solved by an honor code it can be used in a successful way. This policy can be brought into my life by using it in the workplace. If there is a situation that is going on that makes one uncomfortable it could help when it comes to talking to a boss or supervisor. Also, if their comes a time when there is a condition during residence life which call for this policy such as theft. Among friends the rule could come up in everyday conversations and teach one how to be a better friend. Open communication with one another is a very important part of a good friendship.
             Second, the honor code has amazing attributes. Learning these attributes makes carrying out the honor code an easy process. The honor system has tradition because of the longevity it has maintained throughout Xavier University's existence. The honor system is a mainstay and has a firm position on this campus. It has inheritance because every time a new class enters Xavier they have collected it from their previous class as a contribution to be carried on. Last, it is in opportunity that gives way to a student being able to convey their positive attitudes to others and communities.
             Furthermore, the honor code can help me develop intellectually and morally by helping me realize exactly what is the right decision to make in a relatively hard crisis.
