Do You Ever Think Of Suicide?

If a person has a plan to suicide, what method has he chosen? Hanging? Jumping? Pills? A gun? Has he actually obtained the rope? What building does he plan to jump from? Although these questions may sound strange, they may save a life. The danger is greatest when the plans are clear. When he has made actual preparations, and when the method he has chosen is clearly deadly. There are common incorrect ideas about suicide which I am going to respond.
People who talk about suicide won't really do it. Almost everyone who performs suicide has given a warning. Do not ignore suicide threats. Statements like "You'll be sorry when I'm dead," or "I can't see any way out" no matter how casually or kidding said. it may shows serious suicidal feelings.
Anyone who tries to kill themselves must be crazy. Most suicidal people are not psycho or insane. They must be upset, taking drugs, abusing alcohol and having fear of losing control, so they become crazy and harm themselves or others. Also, they might have no hope for the future like "It will never get better, I will always feel this way." On the other hand, extreme distress and emotional pain are not necessary signs of mental illness.
If a person is determined to kill himself, nothing is going to stop him. Even the most seriously gloomy person has mixed feelings about death, swaying until the very last moment between wanting to live and wanting to die. Most suicidal people do not want death. They want the pain to stop. The impulse to end it all; however, overpowering does not last forever.
In conclusion, these are a lot incorrect common ideas about suicide. In my opinion, suicide is a serious problem which is facing our generation in these days. And, the society must solve this trouble.
