             Upon the arrival of the European Countries on the American Land, every signal environment that is present at the time changes. We have Imperiors like the Mayan, Incas, and Aztec, falling under a new institution and losing all the political rights that they once had. They suddenly become tools for a government that they do not understand, lose all their land, as well as religious freedom they poses. .
             When this occurs, many of the lands riches are now are being used not in the America's but in countries like Spain, Great Britain and France. The main objective. EXPORT, to make Europe grand, the cost, the American people and their resources. Dependence, is what Europe created, forcing in one way or another that new land to look to Europe for it's economical answer. .
             This is a major problem that finally creates conflict between the colonies when they become independent. The colonial period changes the colonies economic strategies. As an empire (Inca or Mayan) they used very part of their territory, traded things they need from there own, and created a balance between products. When the Spanish / Europe concord the America's, they created colonies of mono culture , making them depended on one product , be it gold, sugar cane, silver , etc. .

             Once they are no longer under Spanish rule , they being to struggle economically and compete with one another to be the number one trader with countries in Europe, later on until the present time, with it's nearby neighbor , the United States .
             The colonial period, to an affect, is the turning point of Latin America. The economic change that happens during this period is so important that it will be crucial for political powers later on. The issues that will come up , African slavery , debt slavery; how the new governments will struggle with independence from European countries like Spain, fighting to gain economic freedom , and political rights , but still want to maintain that "European view" of the noble life.
