Hero

I believe that a hero will do whatever he has to do, to reach a final goal. He would even be willing to put you through hell just to form you into a better person at the end. When I was complaining about my employees not respecting me at work, Sheldon decided to offer some advice. He told me "Stop being so lenient with your employees and be more assertive. In the end they will respect you more. You can't let what they think of you bother you." I had never looked at it from this aspect before. His honesty was only being given to me as constructive criticism. He never tried to belittle me like other people have before. .
A hero must be able to admit when he is wrong and put forth effort to fix it. He does not take offense when somebody gives him constructive criticism. He also learns from his mistakes and moves on. No one on this earth is perfect, and neither is Sheldon. The difference between him and the majority of people is he knows when he is wrong. This to me is very hard to come by. When the discussion of schooling comes up, I let Sheldon know he should go back to school to further his education. He makes me aware he already acknowledged this fact. Just by looking at me I can see he realizes it is possible. He has even given me an application to MCC for the spring semester to drop off at school. This is just one example of how he not only realizes when he is wrong, but makes an attempt to resolve the situation.
Another heroic characteristic I believe in is trust. To rely on someone the first time they are met is an attribute I admire. I am not able to do this. The first night I met Sheldon, some friends and I were hanging out in his apartment. He needed to go to the store for something and allowed someone else to drive his Acura on the way. Add to the fact, he just left me and my three other friends I was with, alone in his apartment. This is a true quality of a hero.
