             *Structure: 3 acts with 5 scenes within each act.
             *Setting: Late 1800's, Northern Europe, possibly Norway.
             *Character Analysis:.
             .
             1)Nora Helmer: is a very submissive, child like character. She is her husbands play thing, although her apperance can be decieving, she does have secrets and deep inside of her, she wants to breack the chains and stop being so passive.
             2)Torvald Helmer:domeneering character, very possesive. Treats his wife Nora like a child, so he can fell incharged of every situation they encounter. Also he pretends to have more than they actually do, he is very superficial.
             3)Kristine Linde: a survivor, despite the fact that she is a widowed in the late 1800's she takes a hold of her own life and becomes very independent. She want a position at the bank where Torvald works, which for a woman in that period of time means a lot. Strong and independent.
             4)Dr. Rank: respected by the Helmer's, he is honest and caring. He also happens to have feelings for Nora. And he is able to see people for what they truely are, in this case he is able to see the Helmer family, and their true colors. .
             5)Nils Krogstad: he thinks he is above the law, therefore he can do pretty much whatever he wants. And in his desperatin he has commited a couple of crimes. a sneaky and devious character. Yet he has had his share of suffering and dispare, but will make it right at the end of the play.
             *Plot synopsis:.

             Act I: Kristine an old friend of Nora visits her after a long time without seen her. The purpose of her visit is to ask Nora if she could convince her husband to give her a job at the bank where he works. Then they start to catch up on their lives and Nora starts to brag about her perfect life . Kristine implies that Nora has no sense of what hardships are.Krogstad, after seeing Kristine and Dr.
