My Religious experience

And He will return to the Earth for a final judgment of all mankind. Each person only lives life one time, and after that will be judged by Jesus Christ.
I believe that salvation from sin is a free gift from God and available to everyone who will accept it. I believe God gives us a free choice and knows in advance whether you will or not receive Jesus as your Savior. Knowing this, he still gives you the chance to make the decision for yourself. I believe that if you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, you will forever live in Heaven with him, once your time on Earth is over. I believe that if you reject the salvation offered, you will spend eternity in Hell, a place the Bible tells us is full of suffering and darkness. Hell is eternal separation from God, and all that is good. .
My religious life began when I was a child. I believe that childhood is the absolute most important time in a person's life in terms of religious education. I did not choose my religion. I was baptized as a Catholic before I could even speak or say "Amen". I grew up in a Christian setting and attended a Christian school until seventh grade. I went to Catholic elementary school, learned my Catechism, received my First Communion, received my Catholic name (after a saint), went to confession, all the important steps to growing up Catholic. I tried my best to be good, and I was (I was too afraid of some terrible retribution from God if I wasn't) and throughout these years I developed a important feeling of guilt (for what, I wasn't sure, but I knew I was guilty of something). The nuns who taught me seemed harsh, and I couldn't understand why these 'brides of Christ' were so stressed and angry.
This provided me with the basic background for my beliefs. I was taught the ways of God and the rules and guidelines I was supposed to lead my life by. As a child, I did not question the church. Everything they told me to do, I did.
