Future Plans for a Safer Better Community

             In the present the community relies on the justice system to prevent and discourage criminal activity in the community, and that process is very expensive and is not very effective since there sill lies a section of the population that has not been properly educated and given the tools to earn and to develop maturely and therefore turn to criminal activity. Therefore in the year 2020 there should classes for parents to have proper skills to guide their children so they can lead a safe and productive life and there should be emphasis on detecting young troubled children and direct them to special education as early as possible to prevent them from turning to violence and crime. .
             Today, crime prevention, and policing, gobbling a tremendous part of the government's budget and the Beaurocrats a have lack of vision and motivation to change the system. The system should be altered by gradually increasing the budget towards early education and detection of troubled children and to direct them to special education in order to correct them and bring them back to the main stream. .
             Even though early education and detection of troubled children would be effective, parenting has a big part in the child's upbringing and in many communities" parents needs some education as well to prevent young children to become violent or have a lack of guidance. I believe there should be parenting classes in schools to give the know-how to properly guide your children so they can lead a safe and productive life. .
             If young children are taught at a young age that violence and crime is bad, and to give value to life, then they would have less chances to be involved with criminal activity and therefore the communities would be safe as well. The government's budget should also gradually shift from policing and punishment to detection and special education in young troubled children. .
