Adrenaline Rush

             Have you ever had such a great time that you feel like the world is at a halt? At the Walworth County fair the world stops and all that is moving is the friends, faces and fun. At the fair the friends you meet and the fun you have carries over until the next year when it all happens again. It is exhilarating and causes you to want to stay on the grounds forever. The greatest reason that people come to the fair is to enjoy the rides, games and the wonderful food. Even though the hard work and dedication that the 4-H and FFA members put into the fair is greatly looked over the kids keep coming back to present to the county what their abilities are. Each and every member of the fair will always remember the heart warming friendships and the knowledge gained from each and every event that they have participated in. many whom have not had the opportunity to be a part of the fair may not always understand how much of a meaning the fair has. They may not be able to look past the rides, games and food. .
             Walking through the wide open pasture many calves of many shape and sizes are looked at to become potential fair winners. While standing in the hot sun in the middle of the freshly cut grass my dad looked at me and said, "What do you think about number thirteen." .
             "I don't know. His front legs are a little unbalanced and his back is not flat enough," I said with a serious tone to my voice. .
             "Now number seven. That is the one that I am looking for." .
             As my dad and I brought number seven home, I knew that there was going to be some fire in him. I just could not wait to show him. When we got home and unloaded the steer and put him in the pasture with the other calf that I had bought earlier that week, I knew deep down inside that those were some nice calves. .
             During that winter I took them to many shows and they did pretty well. I knew that if I wanted them to win that I would have to spend a lot of extra time with them.
