Reincarnation In Everyday Life

The definition of reincarnation is the rebirth of a soul into a new body [Webster's]. This may be a hard topic for some to grasp, especially for those who are not religious. Actually, the idea of reincarnation has been around for centuries. The concept seems to offer one of the more attractive explanations of mans origin and destiny. The theory gives hope to the masses that there is something waiting for us in the next lifetime. Reincarnation is what we base our world around. It's because of this the theory of reincarnation is used widely through belief in religions, portrayal in movies and moralistic behaviors and ethics.
The reincarnation of an entity, defined as the core of a human existence (purshua) following a cycle that implies many lives and bodies, is not such an old concept as it is pretended today ("Reincarnation"). It is not really a common component for the older religions nor does it's origin belong to an immortal history. The theory of reincarnation has been practiced in Middle Eastern religions for centuries. It was formulated no earlier than the ninth century BC, when the Brahmana (Vedic) writing were composed ("Reincarnation"). The spread of reincarnation was directly linked to the spread of Buddhism; because of this it was later spread to Chinese Taoism. The ancient religions, of the Mediterranean region, developed quite a different belief for reincarnation. Greek Platonism first adapted the belief of pre-exisisting souls in the celestial world. In the text it states that due to sin these souls fall into bodies ("Reincarnation"). Also, in the ancient Egyptian religions "The Egyptian Book of The Dead" relates the journey of a soul into the nest world. This directly shows the Egyptians belief in resurrection rather than Reincarnation. They embalm the bodies so that it might be preserved so that it can accompany the soul into the next world. ("Reincarnation") Karma is a persons Ora.
