             Economic growth and an improved standard of living in the 1920s benefited a large majority of the American people. Indeed, achievements such as the increased productivity, electrical technologies, and new government policies are proof of the benefits offered to Americans during this time.
             In fact, Americans benefited from the results of increased production. Indeed, research into different ways of handling business and manufacturing helped Americans, both the middle class and working class, adopt new methods for quicker, more efficient production, and a quicker way to grow economically. An example is the perfected system used by Henry Ford, the assembly line. It allowed workers to work in one spot at all times doing the same operation all day, rather than having to lose time rushing around the factory finding parts and such to put together. Increasing productivity gave a chance for more Americans to receive products, and for worker productivity to rise economically.
             As a matter of fact, energy technologies also benefited a majority of Americans. Indeed, oil and electricity were some of the largest beneficial energy technologies in the 1920s for Americans. Oil supported all automobile owners with gas, and was the key powering factories. Electricity lit up and heated homes, it gave to a new way of life for Americans for decades to come. Energy technologies would change American life forever. .
             In fact, the government also benefited Americans in the 1920s. Indeed, the government decided on policies that were created for the better of standard living for Americans. The government decided to cut corporate taxes after favoring the growth of big businesses. The government also aided in paying no attention to the antitrust laws from the Progressive era.
