Round the world in 80 days

            
            
             The writer of the book I've read is Jules Verne. And it doesn't say anything about him in the book, which is pretty weird.
             The action takes place in London, Savile Row from the start where Phileas Fogg had a house but when the story goes on, the setting takes place in a lot of different countries, for example; India, the USA basically every country in the world since he's travelling around the world. Of course, they"re rich; you know it when you read that the main character has a servant.
             The book is about Phileas Fogg who's one day reading a newspaper. He reads with his friends that a person can now go round the world in eighty days. His friends say that it can't be possible and they don't believe it but Phileas makes a bet with his friends that he can go round the world in eighty days with twenty thousand pounds. But will he ever make it? It's a very happy ending anyway but I won't tell you anything! .
             Phileas Fogg is basically the main character because he's the one who makes the bet with his friends and he's the one who decides to go round the world. He's an exact man and he always does everything exactly and perfectly which can be a little bit annoying. For example, he does the same things at the same time every day.
             I think the book has a motto: You can do everything, if you just want to. And that's a good motto. .
             I enjoyed the novel. It was pretty different but exciting anyway! You knew the end from the start actually but that didn't really matter. All that matter is that it was a well-written book with a lot of happening. The book could be very boring sometimes because the writer explained too much but it's worth to read and it's informative for other people who want to go round the world. I recommend it personally but you can find better books, trust me. .
