             There are also many negative effects that are likely to occur in any person who uses steroids. These effects can happen in male, female, or adolescent steroid users. For example, any one who uses anabolic-androgenic steroids are at higher risk for heart attacks, and strokes. They also have an increased risk for liver problems, including liver tumors. People who abuse steroids can get kidney tumors, and can also have fluid retention and high blood pressure. The use of anabolic-androgenic steroids can increase LDL, bad cholesterol, and decrease HDL, good cholesterol.
