Ideal Prime Minister

The Prime Minister is often accused of being someone who is power-driven, lousy, involved in scandals, and a downright liar. To the average Canadian, it is a given that characteristics of being trustworthy, and respectable are expected in a Prime Minister. Whether or not they live up to that standard is another issue. Realistically, Canada needs a leader who is articulate, self-effacing, and someone who is accustomed to change. .
Articulation "to be endowed with the power of speech. Canada needs someone who is forceful enough without being arrogant, and can involve the citizens of the nation, including that of their opposition, in their struggle on behalf of Canada. The Prime Minister should be able to represent the nation well on foreign affairs; practical, but would always know the appropriateness to the purpose at hand. It is their sole responsibility to be able to connect with the people through their words of wisdom, to be the master of prose, and an ambitious politician.
Secondly, the ideal leader would be self-effacing. They would be able to control the amount of their power without being blinded by their superiority. The Prime Minister should set out goals for the nation, and br capable of making decisions based on their own nationalism, rather than the opinion set in public polls. The force and impact of their own personality would positively affect and influence Canada as a whole. They would show grace during harsh realities, without giving public perception that they are passive. They are marked by modesty in behaviour, attitude, or spirit; not arrogance or pride.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister should easily adapt to change, economical and social. They would accept situations that are not in favour of the leader's wishes. The world is changing, and the leader should be able to keep up with consequences of the society within Canada. A democratic government cannot control every waking moment of a citizen, and because of that, it is the people who are transforming the world "not the government.
