Frankenstein and his monster

In Mary Shelly's novel, Frankenstein, the creator, Victor Frankenstein, and his monster show many similarities and differences with each other.
First off, Victor Frankenstein and his monster have quite a few similarities to each other. Mainly, they are bother motherlesschildren.? The fact that Victor loses his mother, Caroline, early on in the book, and that the monster never had a mother figure in its life, shows a strong comparison between the two, and could be the cause of both of their somewhat isolated behavior later on in life. Secondly, they each destroy each othersmate?, first Victor destroys the monster he was creating to be with the original creation, then Frankenstein takes revenge by taking the life of Victors wife on their wedding night. Another comparison is that they are both driven by vengeance at some point in the story. The wretch gets back at Victor, for even bringing him into this world, and for abandoning him, leaving him with no father or mother figure in his life to guide him. Victor then vows to destroy his own creation, when that very monster takes the lives of all of his family members, and some friends, besides his father who died of natural causes. Next, they are both very isolated beings. Victor isolates himself when he becomes enthralled with his scientific experiments, and creating his monster. Later in the book, the monster isolates himself, when he realizes how everyone fears him, and how he is completely deformed compared to everyone else.
Victor and his creation are also quite different from each other. The most obvious of which being Victor is 100 percent human, while the wretch is composed of various animal parts and human also. Secondly, in my opinion, Victor seems very self-absorbed, while his creation shows much compassion towards others when he is not seeking vengeance, for example his feelings towards the De Lacey family when he was admiring them from afar.
