Why do bad things happen to good people

Bad things are always happening to good people. Why one may ask? That one question is asked many times a day all over the world. No matter what the language you still ask that question. Especially if you are at the funeral of a family member, loved one, or friend. There are so many people out there in the world that are so bad and nothing ever happens to them. They do not ever een get the common cold. They rob, kill, steal, and do all kinds of bad things and nothing ever happens to them. .
Then you have the other side of the situation. People who are always there to help others in time of need. These people give and give of themselves and it seems no matter how good they are in actions, spirit, and fellowship, they are the ones that suffer. These are the people with the dreaded terminal illnesses, the ones that never complain but are there for others. When they pass on to that greater home in the sky and join our Lord and Savior, the people on this earth that took them for granted are left to mourn and grieve the loss. You never realize how much someone does for you or the community until you lose that someone then you are the one left with a large void in your heart. A void that only God and time can heal. A void that would have been smaller if you had only taken the time to repay an act of kindness or a offer a simple Thank you or Job well done. Good things can happen to good people, only we have to do our part as well. And when they pass, it is not necessarily a bad thing. Think about it this way, God has looked down on that person and said they have suffered the cruelty of this old fleshly world long enough. It is time for them to come home to a place of love, happiness, no sorrow, no tears, no pain. God has called them home to be by his side and sing with the angels in heaven.
