Freeze, you're concentrating on dialing and you don't hear the fire trucks, or ambulances coming up behind you looking for a way through the area, you keep going only to hear a screech of the cars behind you as they stop to avoid hitting you. You're paralyzed with fear and without thinking drop the phone and swerve to the right to let them through, and when you do that they go faster to get by and hit another car whom was also talking on the cell and didn't hear the ambulance for fire trucks behind you, now two people are dead and all because neither one of you heard anything because you all were concentration on the conversation and not on the road.
Your driving home now from a party, and you proceed to turn on your music, now your love rap music. So you turn on your stereo, and you turn the music up really loud, and then you pull out your cell phone, and dial a number. Freeze, your music is so loud that even the sound of a lion couldn't be heard. You dial a number and already there's danger you don't see the pedestrians walking in front of you or the dog running across the street. Now when you start to drive again you look up and are able to stop before hitting the pedestrians but don't miss the dog. Your driving again still with the loud music and talking on the phone, and you now turn the music up more and the volume on the phone on more, totally distracted with the music and the phone you never realize the car is heading right for you. You turn the music down and drop the phone. Freeze, had you selected one or the other or neither , you might have had a chance to live here but you wee too involved thinking that driving with music and talking on the cell phone, you would never get hurt. You thought it would never happen to you. Well it did and your about to die or maybe not. You divert the truck by swerving to the right into the shoulder of the road you stop, still shocked and scared, but alive.
