This may seem absurd but in this country there is a strong portion of the people that call themselves citizens but do not speak the English language. The world has changed and travel is more common among other countries some of it is legal but there are rules to crossing borders and these rules are not always obeyed. finding out that there are more Spanish immigrants here illegally than any other kind would make people think that they need to cater to their language, this is a mistake as we should not have to be nice to people that jumped a fence to get here and want freedom and have the audacity to want us to learn their language to make it easy for them. .
             92% of the world's countries have at least one official language according to U.S English Inc.(ENGINC. 1) In 31 nations English is the official language then why is it in the country that started it all we have no official language. When America was in its infant stages of being a county they were a hot spot for people looking to make a new living for themselves and their family from their other oppressed countries. This by all means is a noble act worthy of a chance at making a new life but where does it end. Some people think that enough is enough. Maybe we should change everything over to a bilingual system. In my opinion no they came to America and they need to be respectful of our policies and how we do things. When Americans move to France to they have to debate over making English classes mandatory in high school, NO the French say if you don't speak there language learn or leave a very simple choice. .
             Hispanics make up 13% of Americas population, which is 38.8 million people. (ENGINC 14.) In most places you would think that you needed to understand what a presidential candidate said in order to vote for him, but I guess there are different rules to follow in America.
