Gregor's Metamorphosis

I think that Gregor enjoyed listening to me play though. He did say that he was going to send me to the Conservatory. With the state that he is in now I can give up that hope. Maybe Gregor could change back into his old self just like he transformed into this giant bug. Maybe all he needs is someone to take care of him just like he has done for us all these years. Since my parent seem like they want nothing to do with this creature that was once their son I will have to take on this responsibility. I will make sure that he is fed and that his room stays clean. Hopefully this will bring my bother back.

~ I left Gregor=s favorite drink, milk and bread, for him in his room this morning while he was sleeping. I tried to check to see if he like it but when I opened the door he was right there in the middle of the floor. The sight was just too unbearable so I just shut the door and decided to come back later. I decided that I would have to face him sooner or later so I went back only to discover that he was hiding under that sofa. I removed the untouched milk and left him a large arrangement of foods to choose from. He has to like something out of all the things I left him. I have to sneak to feed him either while our parents are away or while they=re sleep. I don=t think that they would agree with me feeding a bug even though they know that it is Gregor.

~ I have been keeping Gregor=s room clean for him. I think that he deserves that much courtesy. After all, he has been providing us with everything that we need and want for such a long time. Being in that room with him make me feel a little uncomfortable at times. I do feel a little better now because he has found a way to cover himself with a sheet instead of hiding under te sofa. Now I don=t have to look at him. He is a hideous sight to look at even though he is still my brother. I have noticed that he uses a chair to look out of the window.
