Establishing a Climate of Creativity

When The Junkyard Wars episode started they had to set up an intellectual challenge for the teams to do. They had matched the team members to what they could do like parts finders, builders, team leader, and even a co-team leader. The teams had to build a vehicle to do a race on a track and that was a fun job to do from the team perspective. The teams had the freedom to choose their methods of making their vehicles from the junk in the junkyard and see what type of racer that they could build for their team to race. The teams had ample supply of the right sources in the junkyard at their disposal, like cars, trucks, trailers, and whatever else that was in the junkyard.
They had an effective design to their work groups that helped them complete the task of making their racers. The design team made the car and then showed the rest of the team what to do to make it a reality. The team leaders had to give their supervisory encouragement, which meant that they said good things to the team members to make them more a part of the team to get the vehicle done. The team members thought that the supervisory encouragement was a good thing and it also brought together the team. The last thing that they got was organizational support from the ones who host the show of Junkyard Wars. These hosts were the organization that wanted for the teams to get together and make vehicles out of the junk and make it work to the team's advantage of working together and when it came to the final race or even boating game that the hosts thought of.
The teams had to make a vehicle to race and they had a few days or even a few hours to build the vehicle to race in the final test of the team's unity and craftsmanship of the racer and the unity of each member chosen to race the racer. These teams did have some discouraging things happen while they were building their racers but in the end they had team unity and companionship among the team members and the team leaders who supervised the team's efforts to build and race the vehicle that they had built.
