What I Thought About Mother Savage

Once upon a time, in a land full of hearty crops, and livestock lived two brothers, Cain and Abel. Abel tended to the flocks and Cain worked the soil. Cain became increasing jealous of Abel, because of the mere fact that Abel offered more to God than he did. So in a jealous rage Cain struck down his dear beloved brother. He then was banished from the land to live as a fugitive and a vagabond.
There is much to say about how Mother Savage struck down her guests. Her guests, albeit they were her countries enemy, were exceedingly nice and helpful towards Mother Savage. But one night she showed them no mercy, by burning them to death in her own house. Why did she do this horrific act of villainy? .
The answer is quite simplistic, according to the story of Cain and Abel (Gen 4:15). She struck them down because she was jealous. She hated the fact that her son had been killed, so she took her aggression out on those four poor souls who were slain. Mother Savage thought that if the Prussians killed her son than it would be only fitting to kill the sons of her enemies.
By committing these murders she left four families without there sons. In this day in age the sons must provide for there parents when they retire and settle down. These four families are without there sons, because Mother Savage became jealous. She was too busy thinking of herself and how she felt. She didn't stop to think about how those four families would feel.
Some would say we must show Mother Savage a little pity. But there should be no pity shown towards her. There are four victims who lie in ashes because of her. They did nothing to her; it is what someone hundreds of miles away did. What gave her the right to kill these men? Was it because her son was killed in a war? If that is the case her country should have taken action and not her. .
War hurts everyone it touches. To understand war you must first experience the pain and anguish that comes with the fight.
