Anthropology, just as good as the rest

Anthropology, just as good as the rest.
Do you know the definition of Anthropology? Anthropology is a discipline that studies humans, focusing on the study of differences and similarities, both biological and cultural, in human populations. Anthropology is concerned with typical biological and cultural characteristics of human populations in all periods and in all parts of the world (Ember 2002:530). Does that not sound like an official scientific field? Well, its not. Anthropology is not considered a scientific discipline because it cannot prove anything. What I am mostly talking about is human evolution. Sure there is a ton of evidence that supports ideas and thoughts about how the human race came to be, but that's all it is, thoughts and ideas. There is no formula that proves a way the human society came to be and that is why Anthropology is not officially a scientific discipline. How else would we be able to come up with ideas about our existence besides guessing? Without Anthropology we would have no idea how we got here, and know the steps of development into an intellectual, civilized society. .
What is the furthest back in time you can remember? Well, I can you what you cannot remember and that is how mankind got to be like it is. That's right I am talking about evolution. With out Anthropology we would be lost in the big game of discovery. There is a ton of evidence to back up the fact that Anthropology should be a discipline. I think it should be because there is so much information and supporting detail about how we got here that its hard not to believe the evolutionary theory. Just look at the details and pictures of the gradual change starting over 100 million years ago with the discovery of primates, and the ways they changed through out the years only supports Darwin's descent with modification. Look at just over 4 million years ago and the first discovery of Gracile Australopithecines, to just under 2 million years ago and the discovery of Homo erectus.
